The location is great, pool right next to the beach, too. But rooms were small, beds were small and not much room in the bathroom. Restaurant food is very good but not many choices. They over cooked my burger but then took it off the bill. Our tub was clogged but they came to fix it within 20 minutes so service was great. While the Hotel had minor flaws, the service was outstanding.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Hilton Clearwater July 19 to 23 and we absolutely loved our stay. I wanted a beach holiday and that's what we got. I recommend requesting a room on the Park side which gives you a view of the Pier and the Gulf. The room was clean and well looked after each day by the cleaning staff. At the beach, the hotel has chairs and umbrellas to rent which is necessary with the heat in July. It is 26$ a day but only 18$ a day if you do the Beach Club package when you rent for multiple days....which gives you other discounts..definitely worth it if you plan to spend lots of time on the beach. Pools were nice with lots of lounges...no problems to get one. The service at the pool and on the beach for food and drink was wonderful...the beach is beautiful and the Hilton has an amazing location next to Pier where there are buskers and crafters every night. There is also a large marina on the intercoastal side where you can do all sorts of activities. Right at the Hilton you can rent all kinds of water toys.....tubes to para sailing. As for restaurants we would highly recommend Clear Sky cafe for any meal they were all delicious and from 3-7 daily all drinks and pizza and flatbreads and brouchettas are half price wonderful cocktail,,, we left our stuff at the beach and walked over each day for an afternoon snack and drink and then returned to the beach. Island way right across the road is also a great breakfast and lunch spot. We never ate breakfast in the hotel to expensive and these places made fresh food to order. The hotel offered kids activities each day.

Me and my family stayed at the Hilton Clearwater on the week of 4th of July. We loved it. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and neat. Great beach. The Hotel is located right on the beach and you would think the sand would be noticable throughout the hotel but it wasn't. Hotel workers constantly cleaning, sweeping, moping, etc. My young girls ages 5 and 3 had alot of fun. Kids activites everyday. There is a pier next to the resort that has a huge play area for the kids (slides, swings, jungle gyms, sand, and rope climb. Alot of vendors are on hand(music, hair braiding, face painting, balloon designs, and a huge inflatable water slide (10 dollars per child for a all day pass). Did not rent a car and we didn't need it. Great food is walking distance from hotel. Daily entertainment for the adults. Overall we had a great time at the hilton. Would recommend highly. Will go back.

Stayed with 12 year old kids. Room was okay; nothing exciting. Have to ask for towels in room to match guests; and shampoo/ conditioner/ soap must be valuable because they never replenish each day. Charge $5.99 a day for parking; charge $8 a chair per day for the beach; charge $10 each time to use the internet. Limited kids activities; no games or event on beach as promised. Pool is basic, no slides and limited seating. Menu in the one restaurant is limited to about 6 dishes. Staff was friendly; especially in the restaurant. Pool staff need to work on a smile once in a while. Didn't feel like a ""Hilton"" - much lower in standards than we expected.

This Hilton Hotel FAILS to live up to the Hilton standard of performance. Management needs to re-train and examine leadership running the property. Safety and Security extremely poor, very little attention given to guest issues. I Checked in at 10:35 PM only to discover this ""full service"" four star hotel closes room service at 11:00 PM. On check in I discovered my room entry door and balcony door unlocked and propped open. Management and Security could not be bothered to come check the room and since they were ""fully booked"" no other room was available. Today the television system throughout the hotel failed and 8 hours later they still have not fixed it. It had been failing throughout the dasy but no one called the Lodgenet Vendor until it completely failed. Only half the room amenities were replaced today and took 30 minutes after a call to housekeping to get a tube of shampoo. I 'm a Hilton HHonors program member Diamond level and if they treat frequent stay guests like this it's a wonder they stay in business at all. I sure won't stay at this property again and recommend others take a second look elsewhere. Restaurant menu VERY limited.
