Our room had a fantastic view! Even though we only stayed one night, it was wonderful! The a/c was extremely cold. That was amazing for a Florida hotel. They're usually slightly cool. Over all, our experience was excellent!!!!!!!

I had just had a long 12 hour drive from Tampa and the front desk let me check in early. I was so tired that I didn't care that the sheets were damp at the time. I woke up went to the store, came back with refrigerated and freezer items, but low and behold that I could not open the fridge door because it was broken to one side catching on the carpet. So I started to get in the shower and blood had stained into the bathtub around the ring. I screamed!!! I checked out immediately but not before taking photos of the rest of the room. Spiders in the corner behind the door, one above the other bed, fire sprinkler system corroded, makeup on the comforter, back of the door kicked excessively, drywalling not complete around the outlets, no on had cleaned behind the back of the bathroom door for months it looked like, rust on the caulking of the bathtub, corroded shut off valve for the toliet, and so much more!!!!! Beware of this hotel!!! Do not stay in room #249! They have been reported to the BBB for this and they did fail to respond to this matter. What kind of company is this to not respond to the consumer?

Hotel rooms are next to main avenue, traffic noise (specially trucks of all sizes) disrupt your sleep at nights and mornings. We were offered queen size beds and got full size beds (terrible for 4 adults and one child). Asked for a roll-away bed, wasn't available. Since this hotel doen't offer free breakfasts we used the restaurant one day and got sticker shock, it was very expensive.
The cleaning staff was good but slow.
The room was a disaster... the front door gave the impression of forceful entrance and I had to push to let myself in and pull out really hard to get out. .One of our beds had a broken box spring and will rattle when attempting to turn over.
The landscape of the swimming pool was very creative and full of very well cared for tropical plants. -

Found a pair of dirty underwear under the bed in our room. Room was rundown and in a poor location in Key West, to far from Duval! Stay at a bed and breakfast, better location and has everything you need.
