This was a good hotel for the price in the DC area. Reasonably close to the Metro; underground parking for the car; helpful staff; decent although small rooms. It's in a mostly business section of Rosslyn, but only two long blocks to the Metro and only a few Metro stops from the center of DC and other tourist attractions. We would stay again.

Everything about this hotel was great. Friendly and helpful people at the front desk. Clean rooms, restaurant on-site -- which was wonderful after a long day of site seeing and not having to hunt for a quick bite to eat. There were lots of other restaurants within walking distance for fine dining. The Metro is just 2 1/2 blocks away. Iwo Jima memorial within walking distance. Rooms were very quiet considering the location of the hotel to the highway. Easy on and off access to major highways. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the D.C. area. It was difficult to find. Google and Yahoo maps both show it to be on the South side of Arlington Blvd, instead It's on the north side of Arlington Blvd, actually on the service road named Fairfax Drive. The two young desk people were very friendly and helpful once we found it. Our room was adequate, the towels were skimpy but the bed was comfortable and the room and bath were very clean. There is an Italian Restaurant and Bar which we used the whole time we were there. Not over priced and friendly. However, the location is what we enjoyed the most. We were within a few blocks walking distance of the Iwo Jima Memorial, the Metro system to D.C. and an easy drive to Arlington National Cemetery. Also being on the West side of the Metroplex it was an easy drive out to Dulles Airport to visit the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Covered parking underneath.

My sons and I vacationed in DC for 4 days and stayed here to avoid the hassles of drving in DC. The hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with questions ranging from how to get to the Metro station to what restraunts were in the area. Although it could use a little redecorating the hotel was very comfortable and quite and felt very safe. For the price you cannot beat it. Park the car and use the Metro to get anywhere.

This was an okay hotel but we had a couple of concerns. The biggest was that the hotel site said it was minutes from the Metro. It was quite a walk to either of the nearest Metro stations. On the first day we were nearly worn out by the time we reached the train. Clearer information would have been appreciated. Our other concern was the pool. It was an indoor pool - something we were looking for in a hotel because of our young sons. The pool was in a separate area - accessed only by going outside - and it was very, very cold in the atrium like room. The pool was also very cold though they were attempting to heat it. Finally, the pool hours were odd closing early most evenings and even if the sign said it was open, the gates and door may be locked. Overall we found our room to be satisfactory though not exceptional and the staff was kind and courteous.
