  Helpful staff, great location, very clean hotel, parking was one block away which was ok with me considering it was dc. close to restaurants, sights and george washington university.

  I booked this room because it was relatively cheap compared to those within walking distance to the Capitol. The best part was it was a 10-minute walk to the DuPont Circle Metro (red line) or the Foggy Bottom Metro (blue/yellow). Breakfast is adequate but grim. Staff is friendly and helpful. Had trouble with guest laundrymat. Room was ordinary but clean and had a tub. There is construction across the street; however, the air conditioner blocked the noise. Business center has free internet access and was always available. If you want a plain-Jane, reasonably priced experience, it was fine.

  A/c did not work in room. after several requests we were moved to another room, but it had not been cleaned from the previous user. a very bad experience!

  We arrived an hour early but the friendly desk clerk offered a suite w/a king, sofabed & free cot instead of the 2 queens we'd reserved. Our 3rd-floor room was spacious, clean, and quiet. (Sofabed wasn't very good, but our 16-year-old managed.) We enjoyed the free breakfast (quite a selection) as a great start before daily sightseeing. Location was very convenient (about 7-min. walk to the Foggy Bottom metro stop); we dined near Dupont Circle every night and walked home. A great value for the price. We'd stay again.
