This hotel is nicely situated about 1 block from the Metro system and has easy access to major roads in the DC area. The pool area was clean as was the exercise facility and rooms. The restaurant on the top level has a nice view of Georgetown, but the prices were ridiculous & for a kids meal. Fortunately, delivery, carry out and other options are readily available if you don't mind walking a bit or taking the Metro.

had a good time in washingtion dc. the hotel was in a great location for the use of the metro system about 2 blocks away. i was alittle disappointed in lack of coffee in the room or free coffee in the morning. also didnt care for the plastic liner on the bed. i come from a dry area and having the higher humity made me get damp during the night. overall my expericance was a positive one and would stay there again. just for the location.

This hotel is about 1 1/2 blocks from the Rosslyn Metro station. About a 3min walk. You get free breakfast each morning if you are Holiday Inn Priority Club member. Sign up before you make reservations. I signed my husband up too and he got free breakfast. I had to be sure and tell them at the front desk and they gave us both vouchers. The elevators were not really an issue but I could see where they might be really crowded during peak times. We traveled late part of summer. Price was right. Room was really big with great view of Potomac, Key Bridge, Georgetown. Free parking in the garage right off the lobby. Great! Take the Georgetown Shuttle for $1 pp/each way. Good way to get to GT for dinner and back. Very short rides to DC on Metro. If you are looking for an nice hotel, with free parking, that is affordable, with free breakfast, this is the perfect place. This area is lacking on exciting places to eat but who cares when you have all of DC! Will stay again. Great experience.

The hotel is in a great location - just a block from the Roslyn Metro and the Key Bridge. Incredibly convenient for Georgetown and touring anywhere in DC, particularly anywhere with Metro access. My room had a great view of Georgetown and the rest of downtown DC, overlooking the Potomac. For the money you'd be hard pressed to find a better hotel this close to the heart of DC / Arlington.

Everything is great about this hotel - just a block away from Metro and not that far from all city attractions. However, the one thing which kills the entire fun is extremely slow lifts. The hotel has 17 floors and just three lifts and sometimes it can easily take 15-20 minutes before you are able to board the lift in your direction of travel. We stayed at level and always had to take lift to top floor and then come back down to get to lobby because lift was always full by the time it reached 4th floor. If you are planning to go back to you room 3-4 times a day, atleast an hour or so will be wasted just waiting for the lifts, One tip: Sign up for Holiday Inn club membership (online for free) and you will get free breakfast in the morning. If you are a couple, be sure to sign up for both persons individually and print out seperate cards before you go there.
