  The room needs to be remodeled but it is clean. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was my 10 year old daughter left her ipod on the bedside table in the morning and was gone when we came back in the afternoon.

  The worst hotel I've stayed in in quite awhile. I traveled with five other women who each had a separate room and we all had negative experiences. 1) room smell off 2) looking dilapidated 3) TV not working properly and could not figure out how to access movies 4) parking spaces too narrow 5) dirty towels in the shower when checked in 6) no bath tubs 7) no deadbolts 8) maid walked in during the night 9) no hot tub. 10) could not figure out how to use coffee maker. 11) one ice machine on whole ground floor and hard to find 12) weird floor layout that made it hard to find things.

  I was given a room for a handicapped person. The room had a bathroom door that was broken. The room was next to a walkway so you can hear everybody coming in and out and slamming doors.

  I was surprised to see a sign somewhere that it had been renovated in '02. looked like a throwback to the 1970s. but, they were responsive when i asked them ...

  I was surprised to see a sign somewhere that it had been renovated in '02. Looked like a throwback to the 1970s. But, they were responsive when I asked them to fix the non-working thermostat (or I would have to leave). The location can't be beat, and they even provided a little pool-side dinner service at my request. Rates aren't bad, and I've seen both better and worse.

  After reading the other reviews on this hotel, when I arrived, I thought I might me at the wrong hotel. The staff treated me like royalty, welcoming me to the hotel with a gift bag, tellilng me that they were expecting me vs ""checking in"". I travel for business and rarely see this kind of treatment. This hotel has a great location and a wonderful charm about it. This looks like my new home away from home when I travel to Sacramento. I'll be back!!!
