  I came to hotel and the staff treated us great, the first year son attended University of Akron no dorms were available and hotel gave a great price since students had to stay somewhere. The jacuzzi in the room was filthy and there were stains on the bedding. The hallway needs more light and the phones need to be wiped down better. The staff is what keeps me coming back because if you let them know they take care of it for you.

  We've had better experiences at other hotels in this chain; this one badly needs renovation. Our smoking room smelled like it, while the rest of the hotel had a room deodorizer smell. Our room had dirty carpet and a burn hole in the upholstery. The corner lobby breakfast area was cramped and poorly designed making breakfast difficult and a long wait. When I discussed my poor impressions at check-out, the manager seemed quite surprised!

  Our room appeared to have new carpet, new bedding, including the comforter, clean tile in bathroom but, there was mold on the wallpaper in the bathroom (near the mirror)

  Cigarette but was in the a/c vent. the phone was greasy and had ashes all over it. it looked like someone had drawn on the walls with cigarette buts. ...

  Cigarette but was in the a/c vent. The phone was greasy and had ashes all over it. It looked like someone had drawn on the walls with cigarette buts. Maybe non-smoking rooms are cleaner?

  Bathroom was run-down. There was a cigarette but in the a/c vent. It looked like someone had made marks on the walls with a cigarette but. The room phone was greasy and had ashes on it.
