04/20/2009The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the amenities are great. it's also in a great part of town, with restaurants and stores practically within walking distance.

We have stayed in this hotel while in Grand Rapids on business for the last three years. Although it is an older facility. It has always been clean, has a good breakfast bar and is a good location for our needs. We need additional parking space which this hotel has. Is convenient to shopping and restruants.

I have three children and stayed in a room with two queen beds. By moving a chair there was room for a pack-n-play next to our bed. Each bed had four pillows which we loved. There is a desk in the room allowing for some more space to put things. I especially liked the bathroom setup. There is a large vanity in the bathroom so we could put all of our things there. Also right outside the bathroom is a counter with a big mirror that makes it much easier to get ready when you have multiple people in a room. This is not a huge room. It is your standard size, it was fine for us and the layout worked well for us. My parents stayed too and their room was the same as ours. They do have two computers and a printer for internet access available to all quests. They were also willing to make copies for me at the front desk. There is a coin laundry if you need it. But the best by far is the breakfast. It is served from 4:30 - 10:00 a.m. It is in a large separate room and included, make your own waffles, cereal, bagels, donuts, fruit, danishes, several juices, milk, french toast, coffee and the room housed a big screen TV. During the day the front desk would often have cookies out and after the breakfast hours there was coffee in the lobby. We just kept saying, I can't believe the price we paid for all this.
