rooms were clean.maid service was good while we were out.Price was right Only complaint the rooms are painted dark and have dark drapes which was depressing to me.There was a flat screen tv.didn't get to enjoy the free breakfast as we had surgery that day.Staff was nice. My suggestion is to update the decor with light paint,light drapes.Otherwise no complaints.would stay there again.very convenient location to duke university medical center beds were comfy and clean

The pictures do not do the hotel justice. We had requested a non-smoking room and the first room we got was clearly smoking. The second was also, but it was managable. To get to the room we had to walk past abandoned beer bottles and a dirty mattress in the hallway. Overall upkeep at the property was lacking and customer service was also lacking. The pool does not look like what is in the picture. If we did not have a two night minimum, and pre-paid for our stay we would not have stayed at the hotel. Breakfast, is complementary before 10am. Breakfast was pastries, cold cereal, DIY waffles, and beverages. If you show up a couple of minutes before 10, you might not get anything as the staff closes down the buffet at exactly 10am. The beds were clean and soft, and everything worked in the room, but that is all that we can give them for this trip. We had gone to Durham for a memorial service, and our family stayed at a hotel down the street. For the price difference, what they got was much much better. We spent most of our time at that hotel, and only came back to the Days Inn to sleep.

My wife, son and i stayed here for 2 days in february. The Day's Inn is clean and comfortable. The rooms are a nice size. The king size bed is great. My son enjoyed jumping up and down on it. The staff is personable and friendly. They even give you free wifi. My room had a small refrigerator and a microwave. Hey, this is not a 5 star hotel but neither is the price a 5 star price. Great value for the money.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was the worse place that I ever stayed. As soon as I opened the door it smelled like raid. The couch cushions were sagging. The shower drain did not drain. The iron did not work, so we requested another iron. The front desk told us that the only iron they had was the one that was in our room.
