Days Hotel Downtown Grand Rapids has earned Green Lodging Michigan Steward certification from the Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Growth. The hotel has taken another step toward its initiative of being one of the premier eco-friendly properties in West Michigan, with the recent installation of an Aquawing 'Aqua-Fusion' Ozone System in the property's laundry room. Aqua-Fusion maximizes its cleaning ability and antibacterial strength through the use of Ozone, a natural substance and clear gas that is created when the oxygen that we breathe is exposed to electricity or to Ultraviolet light.
