The Hotel was terrific and the accomadations top of the line Couldn't have asked for anything better. Staff was most supportive and gave us all the assitance necessary to make our visit complete. The beach is right there and was a great plce to relax and swim. The poolwas just as enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to return the next timwe we visit Maui.

I took my daughter and my friend took her daughter. Mom and grown daughters first time to Hawaii. We had a Garden room, from the balcony we could see the ocean, the staff was wonderful, being able to walk barefoot from our room to the beach was unbelievable. It was so well kept up. I thought it would be a nice place, but it was wonderful. The staff was really great! The location is great. I will come back again and stay at KBH.

The Kaanapali Beach Hotel was by far the friendliest place I have ever stayed. They go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome & they provide so many fun and educational activities for no additional charge at the hotel. The staff was knowledgeable about Hawaiian culture & could answer any questions. They provided nightly live entertainment, a complimentary welcome breakfast where they actually told us about the different activities available on the Island (not a sales pitch--just informative), nightly turn-down service with cookies, a gift of chocolates from the manager, and a special Aloha Ceremony with a lei upon our departure. They simply go out of their way to ensure that their guests have a wonderful time! The grounds and the rooms were clean and comfortable & the beach at the hotel is the best. This hotel is an excellent value & we had a great experience. I would much rather stay there than at one of the other pricier hotels along the beach. As a matter of fact, a lot of guests from the other pricier hotels were hanging out at ourTikki Bar & enjoying our entertainment at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel in the evenings. I will stay there again when I go to Maui.

We found out about this hotel on Maui while having lunch in Austin, Texas at a local restaurant. A couple overheard us planning our Hawaii trip and moseyed over to our table to ask if we would like to know of a great place to stay on Maui. Well, they could not say enough good about the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel, its location, its staff and its style of hospitality. Not to mention, it was more cost competitive than many hotels in the Lahaina area. This couple returns annually and stays for a few weeks, they told us. Wonderful hospitality and sharing of Hawaiian culture and history. We stayed for five nights at Ka'anapali Beach Hotel - Feb 15 to Feb 19 - and this was a major enjoyment during our total three week stay in Hawaii. Everything about the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel made us happy to be there. Things that impressed us included: welcome buffet breakfast and songs by staff; daily buffet breakfasts; really good advice on how to get around on Maui; the convenient parking garage; our room and its lanai; the Tiki Bar and the nightly musicians; whale tails visible from the beach; the beach itself and the beach walking path; how we were treated by phone when making reservations; our greeting upon arrival and our special departure with kokui nut leis. The leis hang in our library to remind us of this very special place on Planet Earth and in our hearts. We hope to stay at this hotel again- sooner than later.

Without a doubt the best service we have had at a hotel. The staff is second to none. It has the nicest segment of beach on this part of Kaanapali. We ended up in an updated room, and they really have done a nice job on the renovation. Some of the floors are shut down for continuing renovation, but really caused no inconvenience and we only heard any noise on the last morning before check-out. As with most if not all beach front hotels, "ocean-view" is really up to interpretation. We reserved an ocean-view room, and when checked in, it was in the far building on the 4th floor. We could in fact see the ocean in gaps through the trees, but we would have categorized this apartial. The front desk offered to move us to a different room, which unfortunately had two queens instead of a king or upgrade us to ocean front for $*for the entire stay. We decided to upgrade and had fantastic views. As with all of these room options I would suggest thinking about how much time you will really be spending in your rooms to appreciate the good views at extra cost. The pool is very functional, but walking up and down the beach its tough to compare to the "super-pool at nearby resorts, especially if you have kids. We were surprised that this hotel did not have a hot tub, which would have been nice after some of the long days. With all that said, this is a fantastic hotel with a great staff, and you get a LOT for the money.
