Booked the night before just to get me and the misses out of town. Prices were very good for a Friday night. Check in was fast and easy, also host was very polite. Room was clean and comfortable. Watched the boats running up and down the river from our room. Had dinner at Chuey,s just up the hill, was not pleased with the food (served cold), who likes cold Maui! Next time I'll try the steak house next door.

We had reservations for a king non smoking room at the prepaid, no refund price. When we arrived at Travelodge gave the desk clerk our printout from online travel website. Went to room and found a queen family room with plastic underpadding for bed wetting children. Went to manager on duty X and was told online travel website reservation meant nothing. He decided what room you would get. Said since it was prepaid you have no choice but loose your nite rental if you went else where. There are other hotels in the area that are so much nicier so pay $15 more and get a good room and not a rude front desk. The bridge there is beuatiful day or nite.

The Travelodge was well located less than a mile from downtown and London Bridge. It was clean with adequate parking. Everything in the room, TV, A/C, refrigerator, etc. worked. There was no elevator but only one flight of stairs. The ice machine was located in the lobby which would have been a trek had we had a room at one of the ends of the building. We did not and it was not. Nothing fancy but clean and adequate. I would rate it a 7 1/2 on a 10 scale.
