If you like deception, incompetence, and people making distinctions about you, stay here! The best service you will get is a room key-hopefully it works! Driver did not get out of van to help for airport pickup. I prepaid for a king room, but was told the hotel doesn't guarantee room types: I was given a double. After persistence, I learned a king room was available on each floor. Manager said travel website incorrectly offers other room types online. Clerk authorized my card for full amount of the room although she said she wouldn't, then later told travel website agent it didn't happen. Was not told about breakfast, rewards program, or other services I heard a clerk tell a guest. Room cleaned after 5pm even though cleaning carts were in the hall before noon. Towels weren't replenished and tissue looked like a dog chewed it. Van driver said Rosemont train station was closer vs. O'Hare station. Found out it was more convenient for him: I waited 45 min. When asked for trip to Rosemont station, I was told I had to wait 25 min. cause it takes the driver 1 hr roundtrip to drop off at the airport: manager later refuted this. On morning of last day, told clerk no one was friendly, she did not respond. Later at check-out, I mentioned all of the issues, she diverted from the problem saying ""everyone else seems happy"" and that she's sorry I had a bad experience. On the way to the airport, the van driver told me she was the general manager!

This place lacks service. Although I paid for a king room, I was assigned a room with double beds. I was not told about the free breakfast. The shuttle took 45 minutes to pick me up even though I was 10 minutes away. Front desk lady was rude when I asked for a shuttle to the Rosemont blue-line station (which is 10 minutes away), she told me I would have to wait 25 minutes because someone requested a trip to the airport. Shuttle driver does not carry bags into the vehicle. The driver told me 80% of the customers are Japanese, which is not relevant until you are treated as though your business does not matter and there is no need to service you. Maybe the "regulars" are getting all of the service because I sure didn't. Don't waste your money at places that don't think you are worth attending to. I'll never stay here again.

While this Holiday Inn property is fine IF you plan to operate in or around Arlington Heights, it's misleading to state th hotel is located in ""Rosemont-Arlington Heigts"". It's not in or near Rosemont since it took me close to 20 minutes or $25.00 to take a cab to the Rosemont Exhibition Center.
