  I went for 5 nights on a business trip, and I guess I was expecting something more. Its not that it was bad per se, the rooms were clean, the service was responsive, but the room amenities were rather spartan. From the bed, to the Cable TV functionality, the bathroom features, everything was a bit basic. It did take them four attempts to "hook up" the on-demand movies....not sure what the problem was. The hotel restaurant is a good place to hangout for sports events. I would stay here again if I needed to, but I would also be checking out alternatives that are cost-effective.

  Holiday Inn, Ann Arbor, is a good place to stay for the money. It's quiet, has good beds, and a gracious staff. Only drawback was the smell of cigarette smoke in the restaurant. We learned to sit as far away as possible from the bar/lounge.

  We wanted a weekend away, we had a king bed in our room, wood floors, flat screen tv. Was very comfortable and nice. The pool was a little small but otherwise it was a nice stay.

  Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. We were disappointed there were no in-room amenities such as a small refrigerator or microwave. Continental breakfast was available - for an extra fee. Hallway was very noisy (small children and college-age kids staying in nearby rooms). Location is good for access to freeway and easy to get into town.
