I was very happy with my stay at the Red Lion. It's a very well kept hotel, good management, great room, extremely comfortable beds. I had heard it was upgraded a few years ago. It has a very nice restaurant, wine bar and brewery that was busy every night we were there. The pool and spa area were nice. It's located right off the main street in Lewiston with a huge parking lot that's easily accessible. The only thing missing was a gift shop for souvenirs. If you fly into Lewiston and don't need a car, they do have airport shuttle service.

I have stayed at this hotel over ten times this year and have since moved on to another hotel for my monthly visits. Rooms frequently do not smell good. Front desk is slow for check in and staff hides behind a partition. Rooms have a grungy feel and outdated shabby appearance. At the far end of the hotel it takes several minutes for hot water to reach the east end. Wireless internet service is often sporadic. The Adcope athletic club is a nice bonus across the parking lot.
