Chateau Whistler is about a 10 minutes walk from the center of the village. It offers a getaway in a perfect setting. Within a short distance of our hotel, we were able to go white water rafting, climb the mountains on ATVs, hop on a gondola that goes peak to peak, rent bicycles to go to the lake, enjoy the bustling village that's getting ready for the winter olympics, or just relax at the pool. June is amazing in Whistler and Chateau Whistler with it's great service and great food was amazing. Our stay was memorable

We stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler for 4 nights and we are now planning a return trip over thanksgiving. It is a beautiful hotel. The spa is EXCELLENT. We had a great time drinking cognac in the hot tub at night while snow fell around us. The big beautiful fireplace in the lobby is so inviting. The view from our balcony was of the rear of the hotel facing the wood but with the snow covered trees it was an awesome site. You can ski directly to and from the lodge. We enjoyed snowmobiling too. We booked the snow mobile trip inside the hotel. The hotel is a crown jewel and is centerally located to all the action.

Grand, welcoming and secure. Although we didn't avail the rest of the services ie: spa. I can see patrons in robes heading to the spa, so it must be something. Rooms are spacious and clean, fresh smelling. Elevators are fast. Access to secured parking space is also easy.

Right at the base of the mountain, the hotel is in a perfect location if you want to do mountain activities and be close to the action of the village, but far enough away so you dont have the loudness of party goers in the village. The rooms have real furniture, not generic hotel stuff and incredibly comfy beds and linens. The hotel staff were genuine and positive. When we thought we were out of luck due to time constraints and not able to do a ziptrek tour, the conceirge found us a tour that wasn't available in the regular listings that we were able to make! Drinks at the Mallard Lounge were strong and well made, and room service dinner and breakfast were served exactly at the time they said it would be and delicious! (try the salmon for dinner!) Also had wonderful dinner in the Wine Room. Spent a long time in the hottest of the three outdoor hottubs (the one closest to the fitness area) and being served soda and lunch by the pool is pretty great! They amazing have two pools, one set aside for laps only! Outside firepits were great to sit around and have a drink. Beautiful hotel inside and out, can't wait to go back!
