This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The cleanliness of the entire place was outstanding, the breakfast was wonderful, If I ever go back to Mall of America I WILL stay here again.

We had a wonderful trip to Minneapolis and the Holiday Inn Express. The front desk personnel were very outgoing and friendly and helped you in every way possible. Our coffee maker in the room quit working and we had a new one delivered promptly. We were most impressed with the Shuttle Service to the Mall of America and with the drivers. Both morning and afternoon drivers were courteous, friendly, fun and helpful in answering questions about the Mall and area. And the breakfast - wow. We always stay at the Holiday Inn Express because we find it to be clean, friendly and have the best breakfast of any hotel. We recommend it highly.

Very pleased with the staff. More than helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. Only complaint was the temperature of the room, stayed in April, but had to keep window cracked open to cool the room, outside temps in the 40's. I have also seen better hot breakfasts, but was adequate.

Couldn't cool down the room

When we checked in, the clerk told me the air conditioning wasn't working but since this was winter in Minnesota, I didn't think it would be an issue. Boy was I wrong. The room was so hot that, even though we turned off the heat completely, we couldn't cool down without opening the window which meant a draft of frigid air. Other than that the room was fine. The staff was friendly and courteous and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was adequate.

We stayed one night and had a very nice experience. Front desk staff very helpful. Room was very clean and nicely furnished. Pool was nice. Hallway had a weird smell, but it looked like they were painting a room, so it might have been that. The computers in their business center had very slow connection, but they let you print without paying for it. All in all a good place to stay. I'd stay there again.
