My wife and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversery oblivious to the fact it was fantasy fest. Booked last minute at a great rate and ended up having a fantastic vacation. The staff was by far the friendliest and most accomodating we have had in years. The concierge was exceptional. Great dinner recomendation, set us up with a snorkelling trip and even hooked me up on a deep sea charter (caught my first Atlantic sailfish on the Wild Bill). Pool area was clean and the shuttle down town was always on time. Can't say enough about it and I picked it because of a positive review I had read on Travel online.

Doubletree Resort was very nice and easy to get to. Considering everyone drives to Key West, location was OK, away from Duval but close to parasailing and jet ski tours. Rooms were very comfortable, pool was cool and staff did a great job, friendly and helpful. Ate breakfast in hotel 2 days,very reasonably priced and good food. Enjoyed our stay and recommend Doubletree.

The hotel was a good value even though it was quite a distance from most of the Key West activity. They provided free shuttle service which made it unnecessary to rent a car. The biggest down side was that the shuttles didnt run late enough and were overecrowded during the peak times of dinner and sunset. Nearly all the employees I ran into went out of their way to be of assistance. The concierge was helpful but guided me in the wrong direction with a dive operation. As a diver for many years I should have asked more questions and gone with my gut. The water in the hotel has way too much softener in it to the point that it was difficult to rinse. All in all a great great get away and family friendly,

We stayed for 3 nights in May and would go back again and again. The bus trips to town were so helpful we never had to move our car and mess w/parking downtown. Bus drivers and Hotel staff were all great!

THE ROOMS ARE ON THE SMALL SIZE, THE BEDS ARE GOOD AND COMFY. THE BALCONY THAT I PAID EXTRA FOR IS SO SMALL THAT IT IS NOT WORTH THE EXTRA. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I DON'T KNOW HOW THE WORD RESORT FITS THIS PLACE, BUT OVERALL ITS A DECENT HOTEL. THEY CHARGE FOR PARKING WHICH THEY DON'T TELL YOU UNTILL YOU HAVE CEHCKED IN.
