This place is great looking but its ridiculous charges $ to use the pool? who does that, $ a day to park in their garage. Good luck getting a plate of anything from room service and not spend more than $. the place had great bars a restaurants but they are all closed early. wouldnt stay here, there looked like there was a nice marriott down the street

Very Clean!! We were fine with our stay until we learned that you had to pay EXTRA to use the fitness area and pool! I feel like we could have stayed in a nearby hotel that was just as nice, paid much less and not had to pay to use a pool.

For almost $200 a night for a standard room I imagined there would be wonderfully luxurious amenities. SO WRONG!! If you want a mini refrigerator put in your room, its an extra $15 per night. If you want a coffee pot in your room, its an extra $15 per night. If you want to use the high speed internet access in the hotel, its $10 per day. If you want to use the pool, its $5 per day. If you want to use the fitness center, its $5 per day. When we got to our non-smoking room, there was ash in the bathtub (presumably from housekeeping), and pubic hairs from the previous occupant. There was also gum stuck under the drain in the sink, and on the side of the toilet. When I called the front desk to complain, they told me we could switch rooms, for another $20 fee. The walls are paper-thin, I could hear EVERYTHING going on in the rooms around me, not to mention all the traffic outside at all hours of the night. I had to call three different times during my stay to have the ice machine on my floor tended to.
My advice? There are two hotels right next to the Amway Grand, connected by the skywalk: Stay in one of those instead! -

I attended a conference at the hotel and decided to bring my wife and children along. While I attended the conference, by the way it was the best Banquett food ever my family enjoyed the Healtclub, Pool etc. The variety of eating places was fantastic. On the final night my wife and i treated ourselfes to 1913. truely a 5 star Restaurant. With 3 children we took a suite, very spacious, great value. We will be back

I stayed at the Amway with my husband and daughter on the 4th of July. I had heard that the views were wonderful from the guest rooms .. and they were right! The fireworks were right outside our hotel window - our daughter was in heaven! Perfect service, perfect room, perfect night.
