I don't normally write reviews, but this must be known so other people don't make the same mistake I made. This place is not a 3-star hotel but a 2-star hostel. The picture they have is not what the rooms looks like at all. It's false advertising if you ask me and these people should be held accountable. The room they put me in made me feel like I was in a mental ward. No tv, no bathroom, no iron, no coffee maker, nothing on the walls. I had more amenities sleeping in a tent in Zambia. The blanket that only covered half the bed was folded on the bed military style. In other words, the bed was not made. The pillows were like air and had no support. I even used both and it still was painful to sleep there. Was up all night tossing and turning. The curtains only covered the one tiny window partially. I saw a lot of Berlin cause I couldn't stand being in this place. And that's not the worst part. This was a package deal through the travel website that gave me only one choice to land into Berlin at 9 am but the hotel wouldn't let me check into the room until 2 pm. They made me wait in the empty lobby for FOUR hours. They had plenty of other rooms they could have put me in cause I saw all the keys hanging on the wall behind the receptionist. I should have figured it out when I added the "hotel" to my package and my total price went down. 2 thumps down to the travel agency and the Winter's Hotel. Never again.
