We had eight people from three families sharing a 4-bedroom condo at the Antlers last October over a long weekend. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, we felt like we had plenty of room to accomodate our group. The kids went down to the outdoor pool and jacuzzi both days and loved it. The town was quiet but there was plenty to do, and we especially enjoyed cooking dinner in our room one night; there was a large dining table that we all fit around. After dinner we all watched a movie in the living room and when we looked outside the window there was a huge tree outside lit with Christmas lights! All in all it was a great stay, and the staf at the Antlers could not have been nicer.

We loved our stay at the Antlers and highly recommend it. For our family, it's the type of hotel we're always looking for when we travel: good value, friendly staff, nice rooms, wonderful swimming pool (crucial with two kids!) and a great location in Vail's Lionshead with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Also, the hotel is very close to the gondola for skiing. Parking is free, which is SO appreciated, and the rooms all have nice kitchens so we like to prepare breakfasts and lunch at the room and save our money for dinners out. (Highly recommend Sweet Basil and La Tour for great dinners.) One last detail: there are two beautiful outdoor hot tubs that are wonderful for relaxing at the end of the day.

This was our second summer staying at the Antlers resort. Our first year I was recovering from hip surgery and called asking to be placed in a room that was easy for us to get to and had easy access to the amenities. They staff was extremely accommodating. This year we returned again, and requested the same room because of it's convenience and view. We also requested a room for friends joining us on vacation and all of our requests were met and/or exceeded. The staff at Antlers and friendly and helpful. Our condo has always been very clean. Although we were very disappointed to return to Vail this year and continue to see and hear construction, this is no fault of the resorts in Vail. We were right on the bike path, at the base of the mountain and had a spectacular view. We do think some of the condos need to be updated, including the one we stayed in, but we have seen others and they are beautiful. The pool is wonderful and has a fantastic view and our kids love it. We will recommend Antlers to friends and will always stay there when we return to Vail.
