Expecting just an average, moderate hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived and checked in. The staff were terrific and cheerfully answered all questions I had and were willing to assist wherever they could. After being shown through delightful gardens, the rooms are nice and private with great regional decor and very spacious. It was like being in a private home as the room had all the facilities one could need. The breakfast was superb, the usual cereals nad bagels but then you could also or a full cooked breakfast which was cooked to order, not something that had been sitting in a warmer for ages. I will only stay here when I visit Albuquerque and tell everyone about it. A great hotel in a great location which really made the trip memorable.

We spent the night in one of the lovely rooms at Casas De Suenos or House of dreams. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who while walking us to our room told us the history of this wonderful find. As we walked across the beautiful grounds she shared with us that this was once an artist's retreat where people like Georgia O'Keeffe would come to paint. The room was spacious, clean with south west warmth in it's decor. Beds were comfortable. In the morning we were treated to a full breakfast, choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, pastries not just day old bagels like some free breakfasts. The location is within walking distance of Old Town. Delightful, fun place to stay. I highly recommend it.

The staff was very accomodating . The rooms have character and are attractively decorated as is the lobby and breakfast room. It was quite cold so we did not get to enjoy the garden, but we look nforward to returning during warmer weather.

I have stayed here on several occasions and it keeps getting better. Great rooms, incredible gardens, amenties are perfect, private, peaceful, great location for anywhere in Albuquerque. Kids and wife love the zoo, mucsem, old town and downtown. I love the quiteness, breakfasts are awesome and the beautiful grounds. I have actually had clients met me there for meetings in the gardens. Seems to be a popular place for weddings and a beautiful one was held while we were there.
