Although it was very convenient to the theatre we were there for, the hotel is very dated and not very clean. Would not stay here again. Parking is free but you have to park in a parking ramp that is a block away. Not a bad walk during the day.

During a July, 2008 weekend trip, my husband and I decided to stay here because of the proximity to the ballpark and other downtown amenities. We were greeted with outdated and worn furniture and TV's in our room and the news that the on-premises restaurant had been experiencing some problems and had lost its liquor license. When our shower sprayed water all over the place Saturday morning, we were assured it would be fixed while we were out. Later, when we returned to find the shower still broken, we found out that there was no maintainence man working that weekend and we couldn't be moved because the hotel was fully booked. When I returned home, I posted an unfavorable review of the hotel only to receive an e-mail asking if I would like to be contacted by a representative. I am still waiting. I have been back to Buffalo (a great place!) twice since and have stayed somewhere else. I recommend you do the same.

This hotel is disgusting! I checked in late on Thursday night (very much in need of rest) and was appalled by the condition of the room. There were stains everywhere (on the walls, on the tables, on the couch).That really grossed me out. I layed out some towels on the couch and slept there instead, then checked out early the next morning and into the Hyatt nearby. I do NOT recommend this place at all. It's a disaster! I had other friends staying there that night as well. They also checked out early too, due to the hotel's uncleanliness, no working a/c, and no working toilet.

Ok, so this place is not the Hilton, but, the front desk staff definitely made up for it. Anything you wanted to know about where to go to eat, drink, and be entertained they knew. Especially the front desk women during the evening. They were really nice and funny They gave me all kinds of restaurant options, places to go watch some bands, visit some art galleries. They are also really good with directions. If you are going to come definitely come on the weekends, the bars are open until 4am! There are a lot of hidden gems in Buffalo you just have to look for them. I found some great ideas in a local free newspaper called Artvoice. The rooms were a lot bigger than I expected. They do need a little bit of updating but, I wasn't in the hotel that much so it did not really bother me that much.

The Staff were friendly and very helpful.. The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms was very dirty, we had to ask for extra sheets to cover the couch and beds because the place did not feel clean. The bathtub looked liked it had not been scrubbed in a month.
