First they charged me more money than what I was quoted. Refused to fix the mistake they made when I brought it to their attention. The floors were dirty and not cleaned and there was stuff under the beds that was left from the last guests. The toilets from the room above us were leaking on our heads. We were originally told it was from the shower but later found out it was from the toilets. Moldy walls. The only thing positive about this place is the big pool. I would not return due to how rudely I was treated by the staff and owner of this hotel.

I went there for two reasons to celebrate with a friend for his birthday and check out the place for my son for senior week (beach week). The place has older amenities, but with nice taste. I stayed in an oceanfront room which was too big for just two people, but it allowed us to spread out. It was cold at the time I was there, but it was a very refreshing feeling, just being there hearing the roar of the ocean. It was very peaceful and the staff were professional and attentive to my needs. My lock on the door would not closed, I immediately called the front desk and as soon as I hung up the phone, they were there fixing the lock. Prompt service and I even informed them about the cottage's lock that my son will be renting r later in the month to be fixed. The maintenance man took the information down and reported to the front office (I checked and it was reported). The price, the view (beautiful), was well worth my one day stay. I did not want to go home. It was a great way to bring in Mother's Day too. Like I wanted it....by the ocean and serene. All the staff was pleasant. The restaurant on the premises where we ate breakfast (all you can eat), was quaint, but the food was good, well except the french toast (a little hard), otherwise great service again. I will visit again. I hope my son will report his visit later on in the month about his stay in their cottages. Oh by the way, when I requested to view the different rooms, they were more than accommodating and provided me the key. This helped me to assist my son for his visit.

My family enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We had never been to Maryland and Ocean City left a wonderful impression. Our friends all listened to our great experience and will join us next year at the hotel. The pool and beachfront were spectacular, clean, and peaceful. My son and daughter look forward to sleeping in the Castle again.
