Nothing special about it, just a pleasant stay. Bed was awesome. Enjoyed the home made waffles for Breakfast. One block from where you can pick up the free bus to just about anywhere you need to go. Biggest drag about that is that it's only once every half hour. It's walking distance from most anywhere you are going to want to go, however. The pool was the tiniest pool I've ever seen. The name is a bit misleading, it's a comfortable walk, about a half mile to the convention center, but it is by no means what I would call close.

The air conditioner is linked to the deadbolt lock on the door. The room was 94 degrees when we arrived, and you have to be in the room to lock the deadbolt - thus you're supposed to sit in the room and wait for it to cool down. BAD DESIGN!!!! Anyway, there is soap in the restroom that you can break in half and shove in the deadbolt hole in the door frame while you go for a drink and let the room cool down, but I don't think that is what they really want you to do. The front counter staff was rude and condiscenting, and the pay to park was just a ploy to make the room rate seem cheaper (plenty of spaces during my visit). The continental breakfast was weak at best, and I had to go to the lobby to get a good enough signal for the wifi ti actually work. These are issues I would expect at at Motel 6!

This Hotel was a nice stop in the Long Beach area. The Hotel's location is just right; not too far from the major attractions, and right on the edge of Long Beach's fine dining. The free Long Beach Passport allows you to explore the whole city; without the hassle of trying to find good parking. The hotel's decorations are simple yet classy. The hotel has a clean appearance from the parking garage to the bedroom. The staff was helpful in recommending activities while in Long Beach and they were courteous.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night post cruise and enjoyed the stay very much. Our room was large, comfortable, clean and bright. Everyone on the hotel staff was helpful. When our rooms were not available for early ck in, they kept our luggage locked in the office so we could go sightsee for the day. Breakfast was very good with homemade waffles. The location was close to the metro and restaurants. There isn't a lot right around the hotel but within a short walking distance, you can in the central part of Long Beach. The area is also very safe and we did not feel threatened walking at night. For the price, this is a great hotel.
