Filthiest motel I've ever seen. Carpet feels like it melted, Be sure to wear slippers or your feet will be black. Worn out furnishings is an understatement. Bugs everywhere--you'll want to sleep with the light on so not as many come out. Bugs scurry everywhere when you turn the light on during the night. Staff are disheveled and apathetic. Sidewalk is filthy, stained. Trash everywhere outdoors. Basic continental breakfast with cereal and danish to choose from. Close to freeway but a difficult maze to get to motel or restaurants. Never would have stayed the night if I hadn't had a guaranteed reservation and arrived late.

We reserved the room based on previous travel reviews (which were positive,don't know how, though!), low price, breakfast offered & proximity to I-35. However, when we arrived, we realized we had stayed there 2 years ago and hated it then because it was dirty and uncomfortable! It looked the same as it had 2 years ago! We talked to the front desk staff and told them we were cancelling our stay. They said we had not cancelled 24 hours prior to our stay and our card would be charged. We were never told our card would be charged if we did not cancel 24 hours prior to our stay. We politely asked the front desk to cancel our stay, however she walked away from us. We had to contact our bank to reverse the charges. Just beware it is a dirty uncomfortable place and they are not up front with their cancellation policy. I would never use this chain anywhere!

there were possible drug deals, screaming, and strangers running outside our door. DO NOT RECOMMEND you to stay on the 1st floor! This is also just next to truck stop. There were also several hitchhikers, vagrants, and scary people just walking around here...

The pool is at the Holiday Inn next door, so was the dinner they offered. Evidently its a sister hotel, sometimes dinner is at this location. They do offer happy hour in their bar area, its small but thats not always a bad thing. The pool being at another property, even if it is next door, isnt as convenient, especially for families on vacation. Internet is wired which is great, if you travel often you know wireless can be iffy. Cable was good too! They said full breakfast too, so not just wrapped danishes.
