We have stayed at Country Inns & Suites before in other cities, and we normally enjoy them. Sadly it was not the case this time. Problems: Both phones were dead. I consider this a gross safety issue; evidently the staff knew about it ahead of time but didn't inform us, didn't offer us a different room, broken door on closet door that would not let the bedroom door open all the way, again, a safety issue because you had to squeeze through the door, cheerios on the floor the previous occupants left that the cleaning staff did not find, moldy shower curtains, no shampoo in the bathroom, the linens on the pull-out sofa were unmade, obviously slept in by the previous occupants. Had to go to the desk for multiple items sheets, shampoo, etc, because of course, we couldn't use a phone. The good: the breakfast was great, the breakfast lady was friendly, the desk staff were friendly. Hotel appears really new and shiney, pool was fine though they seemed to have some trouble balancing the chemicals. Overall, I see sloppy top hotel management and extremely negligent cleaning staff as the main problems perhaps the cleaning staff are short-handed, again taking this back to upper management. If you come here, bring your cell phone and own toiletries.... and a tool kit would be a good idea too.

We have stayed at Country Inns & Suites before in other cities, and we normally enjoy them. Sadly it was not the case this time. Problems: Both phones were dead ;I consider this a gross safety issue; evidently the staff knew about it ahead of time but didn't inform us, didn't offer us a different room;, broken door on closet door that would not let the bedroom door open all the way;again, a gross safety issue;, cheerios on the floor the previous occupants left that the cleaning staff did not clean, moldy shower curtains, no shampoo in the bathroom, the linens on the pull-out sofa were unmade ;obviously slept in by the previous occupants;. This hotel is located in a great place for shopping and food. The Legends is right there and there are lots of shopping opportunities and great food. The staff was very nice and accomodating. They made sure we were satisfied with our room and were able to answer any questions I had. The price is a little high, but it is worth it!
