First of all if you are a UT alum, what better room could you have than one with a direct view of the tower at UT!. Wonderful facility, more suited to business travel than family but we were in Austin for a family vacation, The location affords easy access to all of Austin and the pool was fun enough for my 9 yr old (The UT motif was pretty cool to my little Longhorn-in-training). Clean rooms, responsive service.

I stayed here over Christmas week and all the hotel restaurants were closed until jan. 5th. They had only ten rooms full over 5 floors but put people directly in the room next to mine. The walls are VERY thin. I could hear voices having conversations, someone coughing, and a child yelling late into the evening. It's a new hotel but I'd ask for a room without ajoining doors to another room.

11/05/2008This is a brand new hotel located right on the campus of ut. it's just a few blocks from the stadium too. nice rooms and great space.
